We had a huge response to the email I sent out regarding drill sessions for ATC. I have firmed up the details and drills will begin weekly starting Monday February 1st. Jayne Clark will be our instructor and as I mentioned in my earlier email, she is a great coach with heavy focus on competition and match play tennis. I have noticed a huge improvement in my game since working with Jayne and think she will be huge asset to improving the tennis of ATC. Be sure to sign up for the session that is appropriate for your level. Drills are most effective for everyone with players of the same skill set. Jayne will advise you if she thinks you need to be in a different session.

  • Location:Pharr Tennis Center
  • 3.5-4.0 Drills: Monday evenings from 7:30-9:00, Cost $15.00 per person
  • 3.0 Drills: Thursday evenings 7:00-8:30 Cost $15.00 per person.

Starting off, we will send an RSVP email. It will go out a few days before the drill class, the first 8 members to sign up via the events page make it for that session. Cancellations must be done by 12:00 noon on the day of drills or you are still responsible to pay the $15.00 fee. If you must cancel I would greatly appreciate you taking it upon yourself to find a replacement at your same level and notifying me via email (assuming there is no one on the "wait list" for the evening).

Keep your eyes out for the weekly RSVP email.

Just a hint for anybody who's having trouble with the login to make a reservation on the events page - if it's your first time, you must click on "create new user account" and enter your information. I kept entering my email addy again and again and again and kept getting an error message saying my email wasn't valid. That's all there is to it!!! Thank you President Eric for tipping me off on that!
