The draw party will Thursday, March 4th at 7pm at Rain on 4th (217B W 4th St, Austin, TX 78701). Come pick up your player bag, mingle, have a drink and relax for a bit before lots and lots of tennis!

The tournament banquet will be at the Embassy Suites Hotel (host hotel, 5901 North I H 35, Austin, TX 78723) from 7-10pm on Saturday, March 6th. There'll be food, a bar, blackjack, roulette, Texas Hold 'Em, and more. Don't miss out. It should be a lot of fun.

And now... court locations.

Due to a scheduling conflict with our main tournament location (Austin Tennis Center), we had to make some adjustments to Friday's locations and times. We are NOT using Austin Tennis Center on Friday. Here are the locations you need to report to on Friday:

• All B matches will be played at Pharr Tennis Center (4201 Brookview Rd, Austin, TX 78722).
• All Open and A matches will be played at South Austin Tennis Center (1000 Cumberland Rd, Austin, TX 78704).
• C and D matches will start off at Austin High School (2001 W Cesar Chavez, Austin, TX 78703). Note that the tennis courts are accessible via Stephen F Austin Drive. Park under Mopac. Lights at this center are not very good, so we will only be at that location until about 5pm. There will be one additional round of C and D Doubles played at South Austin Tennis Center.

On Saturday, we will be back to our two locations, Pharr (for C and D matches) and Austin Tennis Center (7800 Johnny Morris Rd, Austin, TX 78724 for Open, A, and B matches).

Sunday, EVERYONE will be at Austin Tennis Center. You can see the draw times at the GLTA site. Additionally, if you click on your name in the individual draws you can see your upcoming matches.

It's that time of year again! Time to start planning that trip to Austin for one of the best GLTA tournaments on the tour.

In the past, we've held our tournament on the same weekend as the SXSW Music Festival. While that was great for the night owls and party animals, those of us that made it deep in the draw didn't really have time to hang out and watch all the live music. Plus the additional traffic, the hiked up air travel costs, hotel rates, and so on made it tough to get around.

This year, we're moving our tournament up just a little bit!

The 8th edition of the Heart of Texas Classic will now be just a little earlier. March 5 - 7th, to be exact. Don't worry, you'll still be in one of the most vibrant, energetic, and friendly cities in the country and there will still be a ton of stuff to do if your nemesis ousts you early in the draw!
