With the tournament weekend coming up fast, let's recap the weekend's events!

The 9th edition of Heart of Texas Classic kicks off on Thursday, March 3rd with the draw party at Rain on 4th, located in the heart of downtown Austin. Join us at Rain, have a drink, have some appetizers, mingle with your fellow players and pick up your player bag! The festivities start at 7pm and run until 9:30pm. Don't feel like you have to head back to your hotel after the draw party. Stick around and socialize with the locals and enjoy the awesome music.

Bright and early Friday morning, matches start at South Austin and Pharr Tennis Center. See the Courts Page for locations and be ready for some great tennis starting at 8am!

On Saturday night, after the day's matches, stop by Austin Music Hall located at 208 Nueces for our Tournament Banquet. This year every player gets a VIP ticket to AIDS Services of Austin's Viva Las Vegas event. Over the last few years many players have liked our casino themed banquet on Saturday night. This year, we're upping the ante. This year, for the first time ever, all tournament attendees at the Banquet will also get a free VIP pass to attend one of Austin's biggest and most fun events, VIVA Las Vegas which benefits AIDS Services of Austin.

The Tournament banquet will run from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and banquet guests will be able to join the VIVA event once it begins. Described by the Austin Chronicle's "style avatar" Stephen Moser as "A Riot of Fun, Music and Faux Gambling", this event will be open to all HOT contestants and their paid banquet guests. Our guests can play Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, & Texas Hold 'Em with hundreds of other attendees at the event. Limited free drink tickets will be provided to banquet attendees as they enjoy spectacular entertainment, fashion displays, faux gambling, and music from DJ Orion after dinner.
